The definitive FeekZoid ProTracker module list (v3.0).
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
I decided to compile this list as I have lots of FeekZoid modules scattered
around the 'Zone' and wanted to keep a record of exactly what tunes I have.
This will hopefully be useful to people who are interested in obtaining
FeekZoids work. I have also done a mini 'review' of all the modules which
gives a little bit of info about each tune. The list will be updated as
and when I receive new modules from FeekZoid.
If you are interested in any of these modules then contact this
snailmail addy:-
Binary Zone PD.
34 Portland Road,
Droitwich,
Worc's.
WR9 7QW.
Or give me (Kenz) a ring on (01905) 779274.
Note:- I may be reluctant (or simply not allowed!) to spread a tune
if it unfinished. I would rather wait until FeekZoid supplies the final
version before it is released to the masses.
FeekZoid can be contacted in one of the following ways:-

Module Descriptions:-
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
mod.2unlimited-do-it!(fz) ??/4/94 (517k).
Here we have FeekZoids tribute to 2 Unlimited (or his tribute to the
lovely Anita Dels??). The module features excerpts from 'Let The Beat
Control Your Body', 'Get Ready For This', 'Twilight Zone', 'Workaholic',
'The Magic Friend' and 'No limit'. An awesome mix.
mod.aggression(fz) 21/07/95 (428k).
This powerful theme reminds me of music by Brad Fiedel. It features
military drumrolls and some menacing chords (if there is such a thing!)
A generally mean and aggressive sounding piece of music which works well
as a background soundtrack. (Listen out for the strange ending!)
mod.AlienBreed3D(fz) 05/12/95 (440k)
mod.breadbin(fz) ??/08/94 (15k).
This tune was one of four created when I 'forced' FeekZoid to produce
some 'chip' tunes for the 'Xmas Chortles' game. Not a bad effort this,
very C64-esque drums and heavily inspired by Matt Gray music methinks.
There's even a bit of a Mark Shreeve synth track snuck in too. Kewl.
mod.Arcadia ??/12/95 (75k)
mod.call-me!(fz) 09/10/95 (633k).
Here's one of FeekZoids new style biggie modules where memory seems to
be no object! This mod contains huge sampled chunks of the classic
Blondie track with plenty of extra drums (a nice fast beat) and frenetic
backing thrown in to make this into a modern dance track. This module
was produced simply because Feeky liked the original track. That's a
good enough reason to do a mod! ("Very selfish!" - says the FeekZoid).
mod.cirith-ungol(fz) 05/10/95 (61k).
When you first hear this tune you could very easily think it is the
unofficial sequel to 'mod.digital-chatter(fz)'. FeekZoid then brings
in a nice choral sample and gradually shifts away from the chip-style
beginning. You are then treated some to some great synth chords which
lead nicely to the end of the tune. An interesting composition with
mystical undertones. (© Bruton music style review!)
mod.darklite-motif(fz) 26/06/95 (223k).
Here we have a sort of 'happy go lucky' tune. This begins with a
pleasant piano number with a nice light main theme and smooth bass
sounds. It then cuts to a slightly darker part which contains a
section which is reminiscent of the 'Out Run' coin-op music. Nice!
mod.darkmoon(fz) 21/07/95 (91k).
A short and mean composition this. It's a theme inspired by the
Blade Runner style Manga film 'AD Police'. I love the looped sample
which plays constantly. As FeekZoid puts it, "A short and sweet mod"!
mod.digital-chatter(fz) ??/10/94 (19k).
Another teeny 'chip' tune. This features wonderful stereo effects and
will immediately impress - especially considering its size. Its got
quite an eerie main theme with some Steve Rowlands-esque wibbly bits
featured later in the tune. This is FeekZoids 'flagship' chip tune.
mod.dragonfire(fz) ??/??/93 (210k).
Although this tune was designed to be heard through a digital fx unit
it's still rather pleasant. A nice slowie with a cool piano main theme.
The tune contains the excellent 'choir' samples from the mighty 'Odyssey'
demo which always sound neat. Great 'cosmic' bit in the middle too!
mod.emotions(fz) 15/04/94 (297k).
This tune begins with a slightly menacing edge and a spooky backing sound.
It soon shifts up a gear and uses a nice 'bell' sound later in the tune.
The tune is LONG and constantly changes moods. FeekZoid claims this tune
is a mix of his C64 music styles.
mod.ethnisound-ii(fz) 20/09/95 (237k).
What a complete CLASSIC! This is a conversion of one of FeekZoids best
(in my opinion) C64 digi-tunes 'Ethnisound'. The tune features some of
the same samples that were re-sampled on the C64. FeekZoid has managed
to keep the tune faithful to the C64 version but has added a powerful
edge to it. The manic distorted guitar part that appeared in an early
preview version of this module has been toned down and FeekZoid has added
an eerie new ending. If you have heard the C64 version of 'Ethnisound'
then I think you will ADORE this stunning updated version!
mod.Feels-So-Right(fz)
mod.gimme-gimme(fz) ??/05/95 (422k).
Erm, ummm, how can I say this? Hokay, I'll just hit you with the truth.
This is an ABBA MODULE!! Before you all run away and hide it's actually
pretty good! FeekZoid has worked a decent dance track around the Abba
samples and it is rather catchy. GIMME-GIMME-GIMME! Why FeekZoid? Why?!
mod.in-no-sense!(fz) ??/06/95 (265k).
Utterly strange! Starts with dead cool piano intro and then leaps into a
'Space Harrier' type 'run very fast' theme. The best feature of this tune
is the amazing 'chip' voice which features prominently and is manipulated
wildly in all directions. This tune is packed with 'cool bits' and
contains an ending that will destroy your ears/brain/stereo. I love it!
mod.In-The-Pipe!(fz) 03/01/96 (574k)
mod.Inner-Sanctum(fz) 13/11/95 (267k)
mod.inspiration(fz) ??/03/94 (256k).
Quite a groovy tune this. It was vaguely inspired by the music in the
C64 game 'Last Ninja 2' (composed by Matt Gray). Halfway through the tune
it seems to 'loop' but then remixes itself and goes on to feature a cameo
appearance from one of FeekZoids own C64 compositions!
mod.kathryn(fz) ??/04/94 (318k).
Kicks off with nice drum loop samples and excellent bass samples. This
slowie features the fantastic female 'oooooh' sample which FeekZoid has
used in some of his other modules. This tune doesn't last all that
long but is pretty good nonetheless.
mod.like-a-dream(fz) 08/07/95 (435k).
It's odd that this should be after 'mod.kathryn(fz)' because this is
another slowie which features the now famous 'oooooh' sample. The tune
begins with some excellent thunder and rain samples which is apt because
it was written on a rainy stormy day! A serene, laidback composition.
(The slow beat in this reminds me of the 'Techno Kingdom & Champagne'
mix of 'U & ME' by Cappella ... !)
mod.lothlorien(fz) 12/10/95 (502k).
Bloody hell! This is SUPERB!! A very lengthy composition which contains
some very high quality samples. There's an absolutely STUNNING tribute to
Martin Galway in the middle of this module. It's an extract from Martins
C64 'Terra Cresta' theme. I'm a big fan of 'flutey pipey' type modules
so this gets an instant 'thumbs up' from me. I'm going to buy FeekZoid a
pint just for composing this tune and including the Galway bit! (Really!)
mod.mellow-ambience(fz) 28/01/94 (361k).
FeekZoid continues his break from heavy dance tracks and brings us yet
another slowie. It contains some nice piano sounds and some rather
strange bass effects. Very nice 'cool bit' in the middle.
mod.mellow-ambience2(fz) ??/??/94 DELETED MODULE (332k).
Despite the use of the amazing female 'oooooh' sample and nice drum
loop samples I've never really been able to 'get into' to this mod.
This is probably due to a dodgy bass-loop and the strange use of the
'I feel it' sample which doesn't really work (In my humble opinion).
mod.moogys-complaint!(fz) ??/08/95 (553k).
Gibber! This is actually the third incarnation of this great module I have
received from FeekZoid. He didn't think the first version was fast enough
to be a true dance track and now he has improved some of the samples that
were in the faster second version to give us the ultimate mix of 'moogy's
complaint'. This module is 'hosted' by Moby who features in the intro and
throughout the tune itself. There's also vocals supplied by (the rather
cute) Rhody Turner. This mod is BIG and bloody cool. What more can I
say?! "Techno is the music of machines ... !"
mod.necronomicon(fz) ??/??/93 (145k).
FeekZoid actually LOST this module for yonks but then it resurfaced
thanks to his chum Bono having a copy. It's a pleasant tune similar
to 'mod.renaissance(fz)' but with more of a 'theme' to it. I kinda
like this mod but after reading the sample-text I get the impression
that FeekZoid wasn't all that happy with it. That's musicians for
you, always critical of their own work! (HEHE!)
mod.no-limits!(fz) ??/??/93 (390k).
It's that catchy techno techno techno track from 2 Unlimited. Feeky has
spent time sticking all the right notes in all the right places and then
mixing it with sampled chunks and his own special remixed bits. The end
result? A rather fine new version of 'No limit!'. Cool stereo fx too!
mod.nu-reality(fz) (Reality-Fish) ??/??/96 Still in production! (529k).
This is also known as 'HardCoreReality'. Another dance epic. This
sucker reaches 255 BPM and kicks ass! It's a sort of hyper-fast remix
of FeekZoids early module 'Sensual Flight'. Listen out for the incredible
'countdown' bit in this tune. Magnificent! Apparently, this was inspired
by the Moby track 'Thousand' which FeekZoid has also turned into a module!
mod.pointless!!!!(fz) ??/03/95 (42k).
Ummm, what's this? It sounds like a loading tune. It's just a mix of
loud drums! The main redeeming feature of this is the use of the Martin
Galway samples (chirp, crunch, zokk) which sound extremely C64-esque (which
is exactly where they originated from!) A strange FeekZoid production.
mod.popkorn-tekno!(fz) ??/02/94 (298k).
This is a dance mix of the ancient electro track 'popcorn'. The familiar
theme merges well with huge drums and amazing bass effects. The module
also features an extra bonus track after the main theme has ended.
mod.renaissance(fz) ??/??/95 (78k).
Here's a little composition that took Feeky about 10 minutes to produce!
It opens with excellent piano samples but unfortunately the main tune
isn't anything special and the slightly lifeless snare drum which bangs
away doesn't help. "Short loader type nonsense" is how FeekZoid describes
this quick tune and that just about sums it up.
mod.rhubarb+custard!(fz) ??/??/93 (499k).
This is based on the rave mix of Rhubarb & Custard which did the rounds
in clubs a while back. Lots of BIG samples feature in this tune along
with a nifty bit of FeekZoid remixing. DANCEDANCEDANCE!
mod.sceptre-of-baghdad(fz) 20/09/95 (530k).
This is the 100% complete Amiga conversion of FeekZoids famous 'Sceptre'
tune which was awarded 92% in Commodore Force!. Various parts of the
original C64 theme are featured in this stunning module which contains
some really excellent samples. Despite the amount of memory this module
uses it contains no 'sampled chunks'. Listen out of the 'laser harp'
type lead voice and the brilliant drums. An EXCELLENT piece of work.
mod.sensual-flight(fz) ??/??/93 (430k).
A very early and very popular FeekZoid module this one. It was the
first tune to feature the 'new reality' vocal samples which reappeared
in 'mod.nu-reality(fz)' and 'mod.sex-reality(fz)'. This module features
great guitar samples and cool use of a pan flute. Classic.
mod.sex-reality(fz) As-RealityFish Still in production. (554k).
This is basically a new version of 'mod.nu-reality(fz)'. The tune has
been modified so it is slightly longer and features more 'girly gasps'
which make me feel ... naughty! An awesome dance track. (554k!!)
mod.She-Said-What?!(fz) 16/12/95 (232k)
mod.she-sells-sanctuary(fz) ??/??/94 (401k).
This tune originally appeared as a 'MED'ule but FeekZoid dismantled it
and ProTrackerised it. He also added some new groovy stereo effects to
the end of the module. Now all we need is some Lucozade and snowboards!
mod.short-ditty(fz) ??/??/93 (162k).
This module is relatively small in size compared to some of the gigantic
tunes that were released at around the same time. A slow start (complete
with trapdoor creaks) soon builds up into an uplifting and forward looking
theme. The main tune was inspired by a track by Mark Shreeve.
mod.smoochy!-fz 13/10/95 (223k).
What do we have here then? Nice piano intro, laid back beat and the
superb 'ooooh' sample. All the ingredients for a nice piece of music
yesno? Well, there I was sat in the Zone enjoying this little tune
when I happened to glance at the sample-text:- "Well kids, this is
pretty much the worst pile of crap I have ever written". Ummm, erm,
yeah, terrible! This is just soooooo bad. Ummm, awful. (Actually,
I'm not sure what's wrong with it ... It's kinda cute - for a mod!)
mod.solar-winds(fz) 07/02/95 (340k).
A very atmospheric module this one. FeekZoid adopts a new style for this
excellent synth tune. The main theme features a very cool 'wetchow' voice
and a smart guitar sample also makes a welcome appearance. There's even
a bit which sounds like part of 'War of the Worlds'. Cool module!
mod.Spaceman(fz)
mod.spooky-short(fz) ??/??/93 (91k).
This module is VERY small (memorywise) for an early FeekZoid composition.
The tune itself isn't bad once it gets going but ends quite abruptly and
only lasts a couple of minutes. Yet another nice guitar sample in this!
mod.strange-intro(fz) 08/07/95 (206k).
After a menacing build-up with some nice 'stompy' (?!) drums this tune
suddenly BURSTS into a frenzied techno part with some whizzy bass effects.
Just as you have recovered from that some really wonderful chords ebb
and flow from the speakers. What an epic way to end this wacky tune!
mod.surround-manga(fz) ??/??/95 (291k).
This module began life as an experiment in linear stereo. FeekZoid
'inverted' some of the samples so when the module was played through a
mono source the sounds cancelled each other out making them 'invisible'.
This module was originally called 'mod.invisible-manga' but when I played
it through my Pro-Logic amp a totally unexpected side-effect occurred.
True surround sound!! Instead of getting 'invisible' samples they were
forced through the surround speakers making this the first ever FeekZoid
surround sound module. The actual music was sampled from the Manga
trailer ... You know the one, heavy guitars and the occasional "UHHH"!
mod.target-renegade(fz) ??/10/95 (177k).
Another C64 music conversion from the FeekZoid. This is a rendition
of the game title tune which was originally composed by Gary Biasillo.
Quite an unusual choice of tune to convert but it works well on the
Migmog. FeekZoid has accurately converted the main theme and great
bass-lines that feature in this mellow composition.
mod.the-journey(fz) ??/??/92-93? (289k).
This is a conversion of one of FeekZoids own C64 digi tunes and one of
his VERY early Amiga modules. The style of the C64 stune is captured
well although FeekZoid claims the C64 tune is better! The tune features
crashing thunder, girly gasps + much more! A great early release.
mod.the_urak-hai(fz) 05/10/95 (353k).
The start of this mod sounds very similiar to 'mod.emotions(fz)' but
any similarities soon end with the introduction of booming crashing
sounds and metallic clashes. This is a very atmospheric and stirring
theme inspired by the Tolkein novels - hence the unusual module name.
mod.thousand.alt.(fz) ??/04/95 (271k).
Here's the tune that inspired the mighty 'mod.nu-reality(fz)'. When
FeekZoid originally heard this Moby tune he wasn't that keen on it but
as he has modulized it the tune must have grown on him! You get the
ENTIRE Moby track plus an extended remix part by FeekZoid at the end.
mod.tikketty-boo(fz) ??/??/94 (186k).
I really like this little tune. Apparently it was made in just 1 hour!
The tune is dead catchy and is a bit of a fave of mine. It contains a
cool squidgy bass and 'popcorn' style lead. A strange but nice module.
mod.trance-u-like(fz) ??/10/95 (309k)
mod.Trance-U-Like(fz) (DamianMix) 09/01/96 (369k)
This is a dance track done in a slightly different style to FeekZoids
other foot stompers. The start of this trance-esque mod reminds me of
the SLAM & GAT DECOR remixes of Jarres 'Chronologie pt 6' that were
released a while back. There's some nice vocals in this mod too.
mod.transwarp-intro(fz) ??/??/94 (368k).
This module is VERY cool. It was composed for the 'Transwarp' demo and
is a very powerful 'film-style' theme. The tune builds up well, features
nice use of pan-pipes and it uses Jarre's laser harp to magnificent effect
later in the module. An awesome composition which suits the demo well.
mod.transwarp-main(fz) ??/??/94 (194k).
Another tune that was produced for the 'Transwarp' demo. This sucker is
LOUD! It's very film-esque and features vocal chants from the 'Batman
Returns' soundtrack which sound a bit good. As this was composed
specifically for a demo part it's short but very impresssive.
mod.Treasure-Silo(fz) ??/10/95 (398k)
Original C64 track written mid-92.
mod.tribal-dance(fz) ??/??/93 (522k).
The first version of this 2 Unlimited remix got a bit of a panning
(from myself) due to some very course samples at the end. FeekZoid
modified the tune and replaced the aformentioned samples with vastly
superior ones. The mix now sounds great and features a nifty bit of
FeekZoid remixing. All we need now is Anita in her Tribal Dance outfit!
mod.turbocharge(fz) 29/04/94 (374k).
This module kicks of with a some loud bass sounds. The main theme is
fast and this module features probably the best use of the fantastic
female 'oooooh' sample which FeekZoid manipulates to great effect.
mod.ugot2letthemusic(fz) ??/02/95 (506k).
The classic Cappella dance track gets the FeekZoid treatment. The
original tune has been souped up a bit so you get a new mix of the
track rather than just sampled chunks joined together. Move your
feet! Eeeeh, Kelly Overett is a big girl ain't she! (Nearly as
big as this module ... ?!) Yam.
mod.ultrasonic(fz) ??/09/95 (751k).
"Look at the size of that thing!" ... Yup, here we have FeekZoids biggest
module to date! This is an awesome mix of a track by 'Ultrasonic' from
their 'Technojunkies' CD (well, that's what it said in the sample-text!).
The quality of the samples is very high which accounts for the size of
this module. Yet again FeekZoid has added lots of new bits rather than
just lash sampled chunks together. Methinks this mod inspired FeekZoid
to produce the rather smart 'mod.trance-u-like(fz)' which uses a few of
the same samples.
mod.war!-feekzoid-mix(fz) ??/??/94 (316k).
Now you can enjoy the theme from Cannon Fodder as a ProTracker module.
The tune has been extended by FeekZoid but strangely omits some of the
parts of the original version (because he forgot about them! HEHE!).
"War! Never been so much fun!"
mod.when-she-comes(fz) ??/06/95 (245k).
Why is this called 'mod.when-she-comes(fz)'?? It should really be
called 'The Last Ninja 2 loading theme we all love' because that's
exactly what it is! Yup, it's a conversion of the 'Street' loading
tune by Matt Gray. It features nice sequenced part and those great
Matt Gray bass-lines. You also get an extra bonus track at the end!
mod.xmas-chortling1(fz) ??/10/93 (546k).
This massive tune was composed specially for a synchronized music video
which is part of the special edition version of my wacky 'Xmas Chortles'
video. The tune is packed with amusing samples from me and my chums
and features snippets of 2 Unlimited and Cappella tracks. Mucho fun.
FeekZoid himself makes a special guest vocal appearance in this mod!
mod.xmas-chortling2(fz) ??/10/93 (548k).
This is part 2 of the synchrovideo theme and when its joined to the
first tune it forms a module which would be 1094k - That's over a MEG!
Like the first 'Chortling' module this features an assorted mish-mash
of tunes (in the style of the 'Xmas Chortles' audio tapes) and plenty
of weird samples again supplied by me and the gang.
mod.xmaschrt-crapditty(fz) ??/??/94 (10k).
Looking at the name of this module I get the distinct feeling that
FeekZoid wasn't too happy with this chip tune. Apparently this module
was 'experimental' but FeekZoid did go on to make other chip tunes
which were much better - E.G the excellent 'mod.digital-chatter(fz)'.
mod.xmaschrt-ditty1(fz) ??/??/94 (9k).
This is a much better chip tune which DID get used in the 'Xmas Chortles'
game. Its got a more catchy beat which was ideal for the intermission
screen in the game which is where it ended up being featured. The tune
contains some powerful chip sounds which "blow up the scopes" (says FZ).
mod.xmaschrt-gameover(fz) ??/10/94 (87k).
This module begins with lovely sweeping choir chords. The main theme is
very reminiscent of the Leander music and there's a superb pan-pipe solo
in the middle of this tune. It's very surprising that this is only 87k!
mod.xmaschrt-intro(fz) ??/10/94 (200k).
This amazing module was produced for the intro of the 'Xmas Chortles'
game but didn't get used in the end! It's another 'film-style' module
and builds from an eerie start into a crashing military theme. There's
a special 'guest' appearance from the 'Knucklebusters' bass-line and
the way the tune ends was inspired by Mark Shreeves 'Legion'.
mod.xmaschrt-main(fz) ??/10/94 (151k).
This brilliant module is based on the second 'Xmas Chortling' module.
The way FeekZoid has re-worked the original huge module and compacted
it into just 151k is awesome! Obviously it doesn't feature the strange
vocal samples of the original module. The emphasis is on the main
theme which sounds great even without us lot freaking out in it!
mod.you-make-me-feel(fz) ??/06/95 (334k).
Yikes! Yet another apparently unfinished mod. It's pretty damn fine so
far if you ask me. A rousing swirling chord intro replete with striking
Mark Shreeve samples accelerates into an uplifting dance number with some
interesting vocal effects. C'mon Feeky, FINISH THIS MODULE! You know
you want to!
mod.you-too?(fz) 20/10/95 (646k).
Here's a mod for all you Bat-Fans out there. It's a conversion of
the U2 track that featured in 'Batman Forever'. Not content with simply
bolting sampled chunks together FeekZoid has once again added plenty of
new bits to this tune. I just luurve the orchestral ending to this mod!
One little complaint though, it's a bit quiet in the places where just
the U2 samples are played on their own (although there is a technical
reason for this I've been told).
mod.zzap!blip!bluey!(fz) ??/09/95 (369k).
Chortle! One of the best things about this mod is probably its NAME!
The tune itself is a vibrant catchy number with some familiar 'Space
Invaders' samples snuck in. There's a brill synthy bit in the middle
of this mod. It sort of reminds me of some 'Pet Shop Boys' type stuff
("BLLLOOOOOAAAAARRRRRGGHHHH!!" - FeekZoid loses his lunch instantly).
Hmmm. No offence meant to both fans of the 'Pet Shop Boys' ... !

And now we have a new addition to the Feeky module list. The following
modules were NOT originally produced by FeekZoid but have been updated
in some way. They either feature enhanced samples or have been converted
into proper ProTracker mods (or both!).
mod.colditz(fz) (134k).
This ancient game theme was pretty good when it was first released but
now FeekZoid has brought it up to date with some meaty new instruments.
It now contains amongst other things a new piano and chunky bass. Neat.
mod.fuzzywuzzy!(fz) (157k).
The original modules produced for the Amiga conversion of the classic C64
game 'Creatures' weren't very good. In fact, the word 'CACK' springs to
mind. They featured ancient instruments and a bum note or ten. FeekZoid
has taken one of the more memorable themes and has added new samples
including one which goes "cchhhhhooooowwwwwwweeeeeyyyyooooowwwwwww"!
(You had to be here for that!)
mod.gem-x(fz) (71k).
This is one of FeekZoids personal faves which has now been converted
from an obscure player into a proper ProTracker module. FeekZoid
assures me this is an faithful replica of the original game theme
and he's even added an extra bit. An odd but pleasant little mod.
